Software development for RIRs processing

This paper explains the development of software designed for the calculation of key acoustic parameters that characterise a room environment. Using the Python programming language and the Tkinter framework, a graphical user interface (GUI) has been constructed to facilitate the processing of monophonic and stereo impulse responses. These response types are essential for deriving binaural acoustic parameters, including interaural cross-correlation (IACC). The resulting parameter calculations are compared to those generated by other software for validation purposes.
